Hello, we are the Mitchell family. We are the current of many generations that have grown up and worked on the family farm. Oaklawn Farm was founded in 1841 and has been handed down through the generations ever since. Our journey started 10 years ago when our daughter – Olivia- had a dream of getting married at the family farm. We continued with our sons wedding a couple years after and have since opened our doors to the public to create even more wonderful memories.

Oaklawn Farm is 144 acres of beautiful rolling hills and open pastures, tucked in the Endless Mountains of Pennsylvania. We are located just 8 miles from the New York border and only minutes away from the breath taking water falls of Salt Springs State Park. Oaklawn Farm got its name from the massive oak trees that once lived on the property. For many generations the farm was primarily a dairy farm, but has been a home to many other animals. 

The unique lofts of the Grand Barn  was where the hay was stored for the winter to feed the animals on the farm. Many summers were spent filling the lofts to the rafters with hay to use during the long winter months. These lofted floors of the barn make for the perfect view for your guest during special events like your first dance or bridal party toasts.
